Today, I went to get my haircut. Now for anyone who knows me, this is a rare occasion. The process of having someone caress your hair while styling it just doesn't sit well with me. Once I finished, I thanked the lady, paid for my haircut and gave her a $2 tip. I started my car, pulled out of the shopping center parking lot towards home. I was preparing to turn left at a red light, waiting on the arrow. When it hit, I proceeded to take my turn as the arrow instructed, when an someone decided to pull out from across the intersection making an illegal turn. He choose my inside lane, his outside lane......which was my intended target. Damn near hit the fellow. Ready to follow this car and beat some sense to who ever was inside, I followed the car to the next light, only to see that it was an elderly man who could barely see over the wheel.
Now, if your an elderly individual who drives, and does it successfully, kudos to you. Now, if your an elderly individual who can't drive, and chooses to drive anyway, WHY? If you're a senior, who requires driving assistance, please take it. It would help other drivers feel safer on the road. All your doing is making it dangerous for a fellow to get his haircut. Ok, I've said my peace. Enough venting for now... Have a nice day.
