My name is Zach, I'm 19 years old, design student, lives in Ohio, enjoys creating content for others to read. Now their are many reasons to start a blog, to vent, help others, give advice, or share your knowledge with the world.
Saying that, I would like to welcome you to my blog, where hopefully I share my experiences with you, and you shares yours with me. Long or short, I want to create a safe haven for my thoughts, so that one day I can look back on them. Let me tell you a bit more about myself, I currently reside in what is Springfield, Ohio. Now Springfield is a very interesting place, where you either find outstanding successful individuals, or the lowest of the low drug fiends. But, most people, like myself, are in the middle. Working everyday for a smaller than expected paycheck, hoping something interesting hits this side of the Earth. What most people, well except for those who saw us on CNN, don't realize, is that Springfield, was in fact voted the unhappiest town in america. This, does have some truth, being the fact we have a ridiculous amount of grocery stores. (5 Krogers, 2 Super Wal-marts, 2 Big lots, with various other big named stores) Its not the community, not a whole lot to do, nothing really interesting happens here. This place is best described as they way my shop class teacher did my freshmen year of highschool, "Springfield is a black hole, you can move half way across the earth and somehow find your way back here."
See, I have this theory, I wouldn't say its a theory, more of a life lesson that I am attempting to live up to. You see, every time you go to a social get together, everyone has some story about what they have done, the things they've seen, the experiences they have had, I guess what I want to do, is create my own, live my own experiences, create my own stories. I want to be able to look back on my life as it is, and honestly say I lived up to my own expectations. Creating my own stories, creating different experiences, taking the bull that is life, by the horns and taking it down.
If I do continue this blog, if I update it regularly or every once in a while, I hope we do meet again.
Until then,
-Zach
